Love finds a way.

One phlox came from a small, family-run nursery. He was stubborn and untamed. The other, a big-box garden centre. She was delicate and carefully chosen. They had no reason to meet, except that I planted them side by side. Somehow, across their differences, they leaned toward each other, their roots whispering secrets underground. And this season, between them, a new bloom appeared -- not his, not hers, but theirs.

It’s popular these days to proclaim how few f*cks you give. And sure, it’s great to stop sweating sh*t that doesn’t matter, like what strangers think. It’s freeing to know who you are and what you bring.

But sometimes we mistake not caring for wisdom.

Real power isn’t about giving fewer f*cks, it’s about choosing what’s worth your f*cks.

You care more about your health. Your core people. The reason you exist.

As you get older, life gets richer. The body aches a little more, energy dips, responsibilities pile up. But your mind? It grows wider, deeper. You’re less controlled by your emotions, so you can actually feel them without always rushing to react. It’s neat.

Best of all, “You only live once” stops being a reckless excuse and starts pointing you straight to what really matters.

So, my fellow romantics, choose your f*cks wisely and feel every fcking thing that’s worthy of your soul.
